Following the success of the 2017 Dyslexia and Autism Forum, Amaze and SPELD have created this workshop where teachers will gain skills in developing strategies for individual students in their classroom environment.
The main focus of the day will be to support teachers in their daily practice.
Bring your work program to the workshop to share, discuss and hear practical ideas for modifying your lessons for autistic and/or dyslexic students.
Teachers will leave the workshop with practical strategies they can apply in the classroom the next day.
The workshop presenters are experienced in supporting teachers to develop appropriate classroom strategies.
You will also hear from practising teachers who are currently applying these strategies.
