Amaze has announced a roadshow to six regional centres through October and November, providing local communities with much-needed information on the services and support available to them.
The autism communities of Geelong, Ballarat, Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Wodonga and Bendigo are invited to a free, one-day information forum in their area to hear from experts in the fields of education, employment and the NDIS, along with a speaker with a lived experience of autism.
The roadshows are funded by the State Government in response to the recent Parliamentary Inquiry into Autism that identified rural and regional Victorians as having limited access to autism information and services.
They are an immediate action whilst the five year Autism State Plan is in development.
Roadshow Dates: Geelong (9 Oct), Ballarat (10 Oct), Traralgon (23 Oct), Bairnsdale (24 Oct), Wodonga (13 Nov) and Bendigo (14 Nov). Click here for bookings and more information
