Inclusion and awareness training - Amaze

Inclusion and awareness training

Did you know that an estimated 1 in 40 Australians is Autistic?*

That means there’s a good chance that you’ll either work with, or support, an Autistic person in your lifetime.

Our inclusion and awareness training courses will help you develop the foundational skills and knowledge to support your Autistic colleagues and clients, and are available in accessible, adaptable and cost-effective formats.

The business case for inclusion

It’s clear to us that practicing inclusion is good for everyone.

In the workplace, inclusive teams were found to be 9.5% more likely to be innovative than non-inclusive teams and 8.5% times more likely to work together effectively than non-inclusive teams*. In addition, an average worker with disability tended to stay eleven months longer than an able-bodied worker when they felt supported by their organisation.*

The benefits felt from creating these inclusive teams are undeniable and significant – especially when you consider that a reported 60% of workplace adjustments for people with disability cost organisations nothing.*

In the consumer space, it’s also clear that businesses have much to gain from practicing inclusion. Currently 1 in every 5 Australians lives with disability, but people with disability say that 75-80% of their customer experiences are failures.* This is despite the fact that people with disability and the elderly hold over $40 billion annually of disposable income, representing an undersupported market.
