What this inclusion training covers
This workshop explores how physical, sensory and social environments shape Autistic and neurodivergent experiences. Participants assess their own spaces and routines to identify potential barriers, and learn practical, tailored strategies to make environments more accessible, comfortable and supportive for everyone.
What you’ll learn
You’ll learn how to:
- understand neurodiversity and how to talk about it accurately and respectfully
- build insight into Autistic and neurodivergent experiences in everyday spaces
- recognise how environments and routines can unintentionally exclude neurodivergent people
- practical strategies that support inclusive communication and participation
- identify environmental barriers and learn to identify actions to reduce sensory load
- adapt communication styles to different needs
- understand the impact of sensory overwhelm and how it impacts engagement and inclusion
- apply practical steps to make information and communication clearer, more accessible and welcoming for Autistic people.

| Access to Training | All sessions are held online via Zoom. You’ll receive a Zoom link by email at least 24 hours before the session. Please check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see it. |
