What this inclusion training covers
This workshop builds a clear understanding of neurodiversity and the Autistic experience at work. Through real-world examples, lived experience insights and practical tools, participants learn to recognise everyday barriers, strengthen communication and help create environments where neurodivergent team members can participate fully. This workshop builds curiosity, empathy and confidence needed to make inclusion part of everyday work.
What you’ll learn
You’ll learn how to:
- recognise how workplace systems, communication styles, and social norms can unintentionally exclude Autistic people
- build understanding of sensory processing, executive function and communication differences and how they show up at work
- identify practical, low-effort changes that improve communication, clarity and accessibility
- understand the ‘double empathy problem’ and how mutual understanding strengthens teams
- provide support without requiring disclosure, making inclusion part of your everyday practice
- develop approaches that contribute to a more inclusive workplace culture
- identify small, sustainable changes that make a big impact over time.
